It seemed to me that I wasn't the only one feeling this way. As life's odometer rolled from 2018 into 2019 lots of my friends and family were happy to leave the year in the rearview mirror and I was no exception. 

It's a common sight for me to be standing in my backyard singing, "I don't care what you have"…

It sometimes baffles me how much we expect of dogs living in a human world, and it surprises me, how well and how often dogs rise to the occasion.

Since Target followed me everywhere, his favorite treasure followed me too, and I would often turn around to see both of their smiling faces looking up at me.

T'was the night before Christmas and all through the suite,

Not a creature was stirring, we were all pretty beat…

When I got to the kitchen, Target was lying down next to the pile of bottles and Comet was sitting in the living room staring at the spider, sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor.

As we move along on our walk with our creatures, Comet continues to "dress himself" by rolling in the grass, sand and sticks he finds along the way.

Now, I resorted to google and online resources to help me.  On online forums, I would find people recommending eclectic mixes of home remedies and scientific discoveries. 

I hope they realize that the life of a dog is given purpose by the people in it, not the jobs they accomplish or the disabilities that hinder them.

The truth is, the amount of effort you put into understanding any animal will dictate your intuition for predicting them.
